RITSUMEIKAN LLC is led by CEO Dave Lee, who brings over 15 years of experience in international commodity trading, spanning ferrous and non-ferrous metals, oil and natural gas, and carbon credit markets. As a leading trader in the carbon credit sector, a specialized market closely connected to the global energy industry, he has developed, retired, and traded more than 13 million carbon credits across voluntary and compliance markets. Each carbon credit represents one metric tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO₂e) emissions reduced or removed. Once retired, a credit is permanently taken out of circulation, preventing its reuse or double counting.
His achievements in this complex and highly specialized sector reflect the depth of his trading expertise, commercial judgment, and understanding of international markets.
